Choosing a tradesperson or a service is mostly a research problem, and the research is usually done badly because it is done in a hurry. These guides put the numbers, the legal requirements and the questions in one place, before you start ringing around.

Each guide carries a list of facts that need re-checking - rebate amounts, licence names and rate ranges change. Where a figure could not be confirmed it is given as a range and flagged, rather than stated as fact.
